ASAPP is available to schools and districts that fund the program. There is no cost to families.

ASAPP brings dynamic, high-quality dance instruction to your school—rooted in joy, discipline, creativity, and artistic expression.

Led by a retired LAUSD teacher and former professional dancer, ASAPP blends deep classroom expertise with real-world performance experience. Students explore a variety of dance styles—ballet, jazz, modern, West African, hip hop, and more—based on their interests and your school’s goals.

ASAPP programs are offered as ongoing after-school dance residencies, with classes held twice per week and aligned to the school calendar. Shorter intensives—such as our summer sessions—may meet more frequently and still culminate in a polished performance.

Each program includes:

• Technique classes that are fun, inclusive, and skill-building

• Opportunities for students to choreograph their own dances with expert guidance

• Performance opportunities for families and the school community

ASAPP is free for participating families and funded by the schools and districts that bring us in. We work collaboratively with each school to design a program that fits its goals, schedule, and budget.

Programs take place after school—without interrupting the instructional day—and give students the chance to move, create, and be part of something meaningful right on campus.

Whether students are brand new to dance or already choreographing their own moves, they work hard, have fun, and perform with pride. Our performances are consistently high-energy, joyful, and community-building—and schools are proud to be recognized for supporting the arts and student creativity.
